1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using PodiumControl ("Service", "Platform"), you ("User", "Organizer", "Participant") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Platform.
2. Description of Service
PodiumControl provides a cloud-based software suite for sports event organizers to manage participant registrations, score calculations, category rankings, sponsor displays, and live public leaderboards.
3. Organizer Responsibilities
Event Organizers using PodiumControl warrant and agree that:
- They hold all necessary permits, insurance, and legal authority to host their respective sports events.
- Information provided regarding event dates, categories, scores, and rules is accurate and up-to-date.
- They will respect participant data and process deletion requests in a timely manner.
- They are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.
4. Event Credits & Billing
Single Event & Pack Credits: 1 event credit unlocks 1 live event. Credits do not expire until consumed to unlock an event. Once an event is unlocked, it remains live and manageable.
Pro Subscription: Subscribers receive unlimited active event unlocks during their active billing period.
All payments are securely handled by Stripe. Price amounts are clearly listed in USD (or converted locally via Stripe Adaptive Pricing).
5. Acceptable Use Policy
Users shall NOT:
- Upload fraudulent, abusive, defamatory, or unlawful content.
- Attempt to bypass security measures, probe infrastructure, or reverse-engineer the Platform.
- Submit duplicate, spam, or false athlete registrations intentionally.
- Use the platform for unauthorized commercial advertising outside of designated Sponsor features.
6. Intellectual Property & Branding
The PodiumControl platform, codebase, logos, designs, and interface trademarks belong exclusively to PodiumControl. Event names, organizer branding, sponsor logos, and participant rosters remain the intellectual property of their respective owners.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PodiumControl shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues resulting from event cancellations, athletic injuries during events, network interruptions, or data entry errors made by event staff.
8. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Notice of significant changes will be published on our platform. Continued use of PodiumControl constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
